A let-down of a sale and OotD

Well, I have to say I was pretty disappointed in the sale, everybody. Not a single thing from my wishlist got cut, so I'm sitting this one out. Here's hoping something hits sale before the end of the month that's worth spending my discount on!

This outfit is yet another adventure in Katie Likes To Wear Lounge-wear Outside. I thought the pastel colors were perfect for summer, and it was so comfy and girly. Did I mention that this "dress" only cost me $20? Because it did. And I love it even more because it was such a great deal!

  1. Didn't you want the Imaginings Chemise at one point (I think you were the one who got me interested in it)? I looked for it at my store, but they didn't have it. I thought about buying it online, but I just didn't want to add another $100+ to my cart to get free shipping.

  2. Sara -- I'm flattered that you remembered that! I actually saw it in the store and wasn't wowed in person, so I decided to pass. Unless I can get an online popback, and as you said the lack of free shipping is a major deterrent. Just as well for my wallet tho!

  3. The chemise looks awesome on you Katie, it was such a great deal. I wasn't too impressed with the first two parts of the Tag Sale, however this time I did pick up the drawing parallels skirt in green (the 25% off sealed the deal for me) but now I'm on a shopping ban :/

  4. Boo for the sale fail. :( But this outfit is awesome. It looks so light and airy. And I'm digging the braid you've got going on there, too. I will never mock your summer heat either. Not sure I ever did, but I now know that 90 in southern humidity is much worse than 100 in California dry heat. Damn.

  5. Oh, I looove this outfit! I wasn't thrilled by anything this time around either, although I could only look online since I'm miles from the nearest Anthropologie. But I'm still pretty excited about finding the Sing Sweetly dress during the first part of the tag sale, yay!
